What you agree to
Shops OS stores the information needed to run your account, including your shop profile, employees, customers, vehicles, work orders, estimates, invoices, payments, supplier activity, notifications, and settings.
Plans and billing
Starter, Plus, and Platinum have different feature, storage, location, employee, order, export, integration, and photo limits. Apple subscriptions renew through your Apple Account. Upgrades may apply immediately and downgrades may begin after the current billing period.
Owners and employees
Owners control employee invite codes, seats, roles, and permissions. Every employee must use their own account. Actions may be recorded under that employee's name.
Google and Apple sign-in
Google or Apple may provide a verified email, account identifier, and name. Shops OS never receives your Google or Apple password. New social users must finish shop or employee setup.
What Shops OS can access
- Account and shop setup details you enter during signup.
- Operational records created inside the app, such as jobs, estimates, invoices, orders, and customer requests.
- Device, session, IP, approximate city and state, push token, and security information used to keep your account signed in and protected.
What Shops OS cannot access
- Your personal device files, photos, contacts, camera, microphone, or location unless a feature clearly asks for permission.
- Passwords in plain text. Passwords are protected and cannot be viewed by Shops OS staff.
- External accounts that you do not connect to Shops OS.
How your data is used
Your data is used to power app features, apply plan and permission rules, support your account, send requested notifications, protect against abuse, and improve Shops OS. Customer portal links may expose only the estimate, status, approval, invoice, or payment information intended for that customer.
Your responsibility
Only enter data you are allowed to manage, verify estimates, invoices, supplier details, AI guidance, and payments before relying on them, keep your login secure, and remove staff access when it is no longer authorized.
